Frequently asked questions
-
Co-design means that people who are affected by accessibility barriers are involved directly in the design process. At Independo, we work with people with cognitive disabilities, AAC users and support professionals to test ideas, improve workflows and make digital products easier to understand.
-
Co-design is useful for organizations that want to make digital products, services or communication more accessible. It is especially helpful when a product needs to be understandable for people who process information through symbols, photos, audio or simple language.
-
We can support with user research, accessibility reviews, workshops, prototype testing and product feedback. The goal is not just to check accessibility at the end, but to include real user perspectives early enough to shape better decisions.
-
The best first step is a short conversation about your product, audience and current challenge. After that, we can suggest a suitable format, such as a workshop, feedback session, user test or longer co-design process.
